Playing instants that generate allies

Okay, I've a question involving the card Join The Ranks. If, for example, I had one Ondu Cleric and a Stonework Puma in play, then played Join The Ranks, would my life gain be:

a. 6
b. 7
c. 8

The main questions are: when does Ondu Cleric's ability trigger, how many times does it trigger, and how many allies are considered "in play" when it triggers?

My thought is that when the two come into play simultaneously, Ondu's ability triggers twice while all four allies in play, totaling a gain of 8 life.

Can anyone confirm/disprove this please?

that is correct, your two allies come into play simultaniously and Ondu Cleric triggers twice for 4 allies, that's 8 life.
