Deck Challenge: Two of the Same

Build a deck that utilizes two versions of the same legendary creature
(For example, Kamahl, Pit Fighter and Kamahl, Fist of Krosa).

That's what I'm building. There are plenty of others out there, though. Start building!

Here's what I made: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=52190

Here's my deck utilizing the Braids twins Minion and Adept. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=52268

Braids, Cabal Minion slowly crushes the opponent's battlefield but with Crucible of Worlds your own field is relatively safe. Protect yourself with bounce cards like Boomerang and Recoil to push back their board advantage even further.

Meanwhile, Braids, Conjurer Adept will be able to pull out the deck's win condition Progenitus... eventually. Till then, keep the opponent's hand locked down with Hymn to Tourach and Funeral Charm

The deck should curve out relatively well especially with Demonic Tutor and Beseech the Queen to augment its consistency. Haunting Echos is a fall back win condition.

If things worked perfectly...
Turn 1: Dual Land
Turn 2: Sunken Ruins, Dark ritual with the Dual Land, pump 1 black into Sunken Ruins to make 2 blue for Braids, Conjurer Adept
Turn 3: Progenitus...

Here's my entry:

It uses Rhys the Exiled's gain life for attacking + Sanguine Bond and Rhys the Redeemed's token duplication to get lots of elves. The deck also doubles as a "I attack with lots of creatures" deck.

I love the challange you got going on here. However I have been away from MTG for a bit, could you refresh me as to the "Twin" cards. I only know of Khamal, Braids and Rhys (The ones you already have mentioned).

Try Crovax, Ascendant Hero and Crovax the Cursed. I don't know if Ascendant Evincar counts as a triplet.

Other than that you just have to look!

Finally, an excuse for me to screw around with an Ajani-Ajani deck! *grin*

Of course, twin planeswalkers can't be in play simultaneously, which is going to make this a bit tricky. Let's see...

(tinker tinker tinker)

...Oh goodness. It's so terrible:
