MTG Rulings & Questions
Few basic questions
I'm playing with someone who has a creature (or a few) that are Indestructible are there ways of killing/getting rid of that creature?
As for the legendary rule - You can only have one of THAT creature in play, correct? For example, if I have one legendary creature in play, and play a different one (different name/card) thats okay, right?
Plainwalkers - Can you only play one ability at a time? Ex, I have Jace Beleren, in the same turn can I "+2 each player draws a card" and "-1 target player draws a card" - or do I have to wait on the 2nd one b/c I already played one ability that turn?

Indestructability only negates effects that cause a creature to be "destroyed" or that deal "lethal" damage. An indestructable creature can still be exiled though.
The legendary rule only applies to legendary creatures(/creature legends) that have the same name. For example: Crosis, the Purger and Jareth, Leonine Titan can both be on the field at the same time, but as soon as another Crosis comes into play both Dragons die. There is a card, Mirror Gallery, that removes the "Legendary rule" when it's in play.
As for Planeswalkers, you can only use one ability per Planeswalker per turn. And as a side note, Planeswalkers also have a rule that states that only one Planeswalker, with the same sub-type (ex, Ajani or Jace), can be on the battlefield at a time.

To clarify further: You may use one planeswalker ability per YOUR turn.

and only at sorcery speed (meaning in your main phase)
As for indestructability, aside from removing them from the game you can also try stuff that deals -X/-X (or puts -X/-X counters on the creature). If a creatures toughness is 0 or lower it dies even if it is indestructable. Kagemaro, First to Suffer for instance gives all creatures -X/-X where X is the number of cards in your hand.
Yet another way is to make him sacrifice the creature. If you sacrifice a creature it doesn't matter that it is indestructable. Grave Pact, Diabolic Edict, Twisted Justice, Slave to Bolas can all help get rid of such creatures...
The best of all mass sweepers is Final Judgment, you got to love that spell!!!
Living Death would also work.

Also on indestructibility, you could use cards like reprisal that bury the creature. It does not saw this card cannot be buried, so it would work.

which is confusing as the card should just give lifelink to a creature for the sake of simplicity.

I know, but the oracle hasn't reprinted it yet, so a creature with behemoth sledge, spirit link, and armadillo cloak is not only huge, but gives you 3x life! :):):):):):):):)
