Token Creature Help
Ok, I was playing against my friend and 2 of my cards involved creatures. Hamletback Goliath, who gets X +1/+1 counters when a creature comes into play. and the other, whose name I forgot, who gets +1/+1 when a creature dies. Do these effects include token creatures? I'm lead to believe partly that they do since the card Epic Struggle was a recommended card for a Squirrel deck i recently made. I also notice how some cards say "nontoken creatures" to be specific, which also points to token creatures being counted in the above effects.

a token creature is as much a creature as any other, and Hamletback Goliath clearly states it gets +1/+1 counters equal to the power of any creature that enters play. There is no reason to think tokens would be an exception.
Tokens also count as going into the graveyard (before they are removed from the game) for a effects that trigger when a creature goes to the graveyard.
