Deck Challenge: Victory Through Aneurysms.

The challenge is simple: Design a deck purchasable by mere mortals whose primary win condition is to cause the opponent to resign, scoop, quit, or keel over dead with an aneurysm through sheer frustration. A deck which doesn't just beat your opponent's deck but also beats your opponent's desire to continue playing, preferrably in a way that is aggravating rather than merely boring.

*The points don't mean anything, much like on Whose Line Is It Anyway.

This sounds like a job for... a blue deck!

just us both Abyssal Persecutor and Platinum Angel. No winners and losers.

That's what I was thinking. Swapping lands, bouncing things, countering spells, and when all else fails playing merry hell with what targets what.

Things like this, and stalemate-infinites, break the game rather than your opponent's will to live. I'm shooting for the effect a good Draw-Go deck has on someone turned up to 11, the combination of nosebleed inducing hatred combined with an utter loss of the will to live.

I've been cursed just about every time I've taken this deck to FNM. This is the most recent deck list after the release of ROE.

this will definitely cause your opponent to commit suicide, i cant think of anything more annoying then being forced to discard like crazy and wen you finally get the chance to play a good spell it gets countered
decided to keep it all standard just in case you feel like goin to an fnm with it

Ok, here's my entry. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=60037 The cost is $25.76 (without shipping and sideboard) @ mtgfanatic.com. With sideboard, the price becomes $28.28. Most cards are newer, but some might be too old for constructed (very few). Replacements should be findable.

It is a rather annoying deck, hope it fits the challenge's standards.

nothing is worse than the only kill condition is to ping them with a prod once a turn lol

Cushcmu and Anon have the two meanest decks so far, I can easily see either of those leading to someone scooping just to make the suffering end, especially if you slot an Ethersworn Canonist in.

I've always wanted to throw a Dragon Appeasement onto someones field with a Bazaar Trader. Wouldn't that be great? Too bad you can't swap enchantments.

The point is to bounce every land the opponent plays, preventing them from playing any spells. The most annoying thing I've had done to me in a game of magic.

My buddy used to run a deck similar to the one below much to the dislike of, well pretty much everyone around him.

This should be sufficiently frustrating for you or any opponent. I have wanted to make this deck for a while now but I havent had the money. You may tweak as necessary but, I think that it is pretty good for something i thought up. Please let me know what you think

Also Wrathmane, you may want to have your friend use painters servants with that grindstone because it makes all cards that arent in play, spells and permanents the color of your choice. This includes lands in the opponents deck because they are cards not in play, so, when you tap the grindstone its a one-shot deck because all of the cards in the deck share at least one color.

That would work...but for annoyance purposes.. the slow agonizing... mind numbing lockdown... added to the slow agonizing systematic grind is what your aiming for in this challenge... I think you would prefer the opponent quitting than actually being grinded away.

I had forgotten some cards in the main deck and the Megrim and the Underworld dreams should make sense now. Also, if you want a laugh check out the sideboard, it basically makes the deck turbo fog.
