Odds/Ends
Hey Guys
Can I cast Ends (card Odds-Ends from Dissension) when my opponent attacks with only one creature and does he have to sac it?
come to think of it, I could ask the same question for Barter in Blood. If a player only has 1 creature does the effect apply to him?
cheers
Seth

Yes. Because there's no targets involved aside from player (or none as far as Barter's concerned), you do as much as possible.

that's what I thought but my friend didn't agree and he is the more experienced player.

I would rule that way as a judge, without the need to confer with another judge on it. That's how confident I am about it.

Loki's right, if a card says sacrifice two creatures, and you only have one, you would sac one.
