Play or Draw?
So you've won the roll, do you like to play first or draw? I personally prefer to play first.

and so does everyone else. Going first is one of the most important game defining factors in any format. Knowing that you are on the draw however can influence how you mulligan as you'll get the extra card but I can't think of any reason or any deck where I would prefer not to play first.

In magic, there are very few bonuses for going second, the draw is a nice consolation prize, but until something else happens (cards that have bonus for going last), ALWAYS choose to go first... unless you play against me.

Cool, I wasn't really asking for reasons to go second, just wondering how other people felt on the matter. I know a couple people that will almost always pass the turn to me in order to get an extra turn and was wondering if there was anyone else out there like that.

In multiplayer chaos games things work differently, it's best to let the guy just before you go first. Being second is still good and you get the extra draw. This is because the pace in such games is a lot slower and starting gains you nothing.

Personally I always go first with green and red decks, but with other colors I don't mind that extra card (especially with a blue draw deck). It probably has to do with the mana ramp of green and the haste abilities of red (think of raging goblin and spark elemental).

No you don't :) There's an advantage to going first, so to level the field, you don't draw a card.
