Wrong subforum, but here's the answers:

1. Yes, summoning sickness only affects the ability to attack and to tap
2. Level up is an activated ability, all activated abilities have the format [Cost]:[Effect]. Look for the colon to tell whether it's activated or triggered.
3. Sure, if you can pay it you can do it.
4. Absolutely, that's why non-tap activated abilities are awesome. Just remember it's a sorcery speed ability.
5. Levels are "level counters" and leveling up is an Activated Ability. Vampire hexmage removes the counters and anything that stops an activated ability prevents levelling.

I would recommend with a leveler to either give it some sort of Totem Armor or Whispersilk cloak so that way you can keep it alive long enough to do so.

Another question on leveling.

When I have the blue leyline (nonland permanents have flash), I can play sorceries at any time I can play an instant. Leveling says: "level only as a sorcery". In my world of logic this means that I can also level at instant speed. Am I right?

That's an ability, not a card. The leyline says nonland permanents have flash, it doesn't say you may play all abilities as instants (yes I know most abilities are instant speed by default).
