Question on rebound.

Say I play a spell with rebound that is countered. Will it still become exiled and able to play the next turn?

i dont think so as Rebound (If you cast this spell from your hand, exile it as it resolves. At the beginning of your next upkeep, you may cast this card from exile without paying its mana cost.)

if it is countered it should not resolve and go to the grave

^^^ Gamertag is right. If the spell is countered it has been cast but does not resolve. I think they did that to prevent the sort of "haha I still get it" shenanigans that Cascade had.

Rebound and Cascade were never meant to be anyways, you only get the rebound as it resolves from your hand. No cascade + Staggershock, Jund's good enough thank you.

Did someone Cruel you with a playset of Nexii on the board and hit everything terrible on the way down?

No, but I've been Violent Ultimatum'd twice in one game...and still won XD. I've also seen my fair share of getting rolled by Jund to know that Bloodbraid's a mite overpowered for its mana cost.

Yeah I've gotten that too. One guy saw me with some mountains and forests out before I harrowed and brought some swamps. His reaction was priceless: "Wait a minute... Red... green... and blac-JUUUUUUUUUUND PLAYYEEERRRR *HISSSSSSSS*"
