Sword of the Meek

I just checked out the extended set list and I found out that Sword of the Meek is banned. I'm surprised because it doesn't seem that overpowered.

Are there any combos that make it imbalanced in extended?

No but wizards doesn't seem to agree :)

Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry combo had become a major engine in extended before the ban.

You get one token and one life for as much mana as you have. Get a way of producing mana and you've got an infinite.
