Eldrazi Spawn

Here I am again with a newbie question. Amongst my new travels on the Magic battlefield, i have seen these little eldrazi spawn cards. they dont have a casting cost, but have power and toughness. Can someone please help me understand how they are cast. Also, can they be targeted, leveled, enchanted etc.......

they are creature tokens that are created by a variety of cards

These Eldrazi Spawn you see are not actual Magic cards, as far as the game rules are concerned. Yes, they have some of the structure of Magic cards, but you can't put them in your library and can't play them alone. They're there to represent a token created by a card such as Kozilek's Predator or Growth Spasm; they're simply printed by Wizards, and inserted into booster packs as convient means to keep track of what's on the battlefield (and to increase the marketability of the packs).

Tokens aren't limited to Eldrazi either; you can find them for almost any card that produces tokens printed in recent sets.
