Plaxmanta (Dissension) question
So I had a game yesterday and I played plaxmanta (this one) when my opponent played a sorcery (forgot wich one) and targeted my feral hydra to destroy it...does playing the plaxmanta as a instant counter the effect of the destruction card?

Yep, you shrouded your creature in response to his casting so even if his was an instant you'd still be fine.

@Shadowex3 thanks, I thought so too but we had sort of a hassle so I thought I double check here...

It doesn't really counter the spell but it makes the target illegal. A spell with an illegal target fails automatically and the card goes to the graveyard.
