well i would take out the grixis panorama and put another Terramorphic Expanse. and the Cloven Casting for another Blightning and maybe Thought Hemorrhage for another Terminate. that might help with some control.

what kind of deck are you making? Is this a block deck, casual, or competitive deck. I know you said it was your first deck, but to get good advice, it would be nice to know it you are on a budget, or not, and what you are using it for.

L3d makes some good points here, but from what I've seen it seems really confused. I have no idea where you're going with the deck.

So my questions were so that I could know what cards to recommend and what cards not to. If it is a block deck or a budget deck, I am not going to recommend certain cards like cryptics or reflecting pools. I mean, there are obviously cards that arent as good that can be recommended if he is on a budget. And as for the comment that you have no idea where he is going with the deck, he is obviously not a competitive deck builder, so there are obviously flaws in the structure.

so lets make the deck better by going one way or the other or just give him other ways the deck can be built.:)
