Clash of the Titans [new(?) format]

My friends and I were playing Magic last night when all of the sudden an idea for a new format hit me. After playing around with it and tweaking the rules, heres what we came up with:

Clash of the Titans:
Players: 4-6 (for best results)
Format: Vintage

Play starts as any normal multiplayer game would. However, when someone is killed, instead of dying, the shuffle their graveyard, hand, exiled cards, and all permanents except for 3 lands into their deck. Then they draw a new hand of seven cards. They are now in "The Bubble" (this term just sort of showed up and we went with it). The Bubble is a buffer that prevents you from attacking other players and they from attacking you until the start of your fourth turn in The Bubble, at which point it breaks. You can target a buffered player and their creatures, and they you and your's, but you CANNOT attack them and they CANNOT attack you. Whenever a players(s) kills off an opponent, they gain a point. First person to three points wins.

NOTES:
If you would die from not being able to draw during your draw step, instead you reset as normal and lose a point. No one gains a point from this UNLESS they caused you to discard the last card of your library, at which point you do NOT lose a point.

Three points is really only a minimum. We found that anything higher than three made the game last FAR too long, but that might be what you want.

So, anyway, what do you think?

Sounds a lot like Respawn Magic, which is a lot of fun. Respawn doesn't have the bubble or points though, so it's just playing until you get tired of it. I like it!

Sounds pretty good. The only worry I have is that the "bubble" prevents attacks, but not other forms of aggression. This sort of hampers aggro decks, but let's decks with non-creature means of offense take shots at you while you're trying to rebuild. If someone's starting over, and an opponent who's established themself lobs a Violent Ultimatum at them, it's got to be really frustrating.

Has this come to your attention?

Yeah. In fact, when we first started, everything was protected by the bubble, but we found that this made it too easy for the bubbled player to slaughter someone the second the bubble drops. By allowing burn spells and the like to target them, it helps to even the odds.

Maybe the first two turns in the bubble the player and his/her creatures cannot be targeted. But after that, all is fair(except for attacks)
