Deck Challenge: Valakult, the Molten Pinnical

The challenge is to create a strait red deck based around Valakut, the Molten Pinnical. The deck can only contain cards from the Zendicar block and M11. Don't forget you can use artifacts too.

here's my enty into my own challenge:

Mono-Red? It'd be so much easier to make this work if you could have Green/Red, get some Orcales of Mul Dayas in there to up your land per turn count, some Explores and Explorer Scopes. Then you've got huge numbers of Mountains hitting the field every turn, God knows how much damage you'll be smashing in with there.

Mono red is what makes this a 'Challenge', adding green would be too easy.

Hey DedWards

Here's my effort:

Valakut Above the Rest

I wasn't keen on Walking Atlas, so I plumped for Explorer's Scope with a crew of pump-critters and Goblin Tunnelers to force the hurt home while scrying out some spare Mountains. Comet Storm and Fling are both strong finishers, especially with the extra mana this deck should have.

Hope you like it!
