So I've been on this forum for some time now and I always see deck types flying around..I know some types like mill, agro and combo decks etc. but does anybody have a link to what the other deck types are like storm etc.?
In the broadest sense, there are basically three general deck archetypes: Aggro, Control, and Combo.
Aggro decks try to win quickly and directly. They value cheap, efficient threats because they want to dominate the game quickly with limited resources.
Control decks take a longer view. They want to keep the board under control with removal and disruption until they tilt things in their favor. They work to create inevitability.
Combo decks try to get together and use a combination of cards that will win them the game regardless of board position or life totals. They value tutoring effects. They are exactly as dangerous as they are fast.
These are not mutually-exclusive boxes with firm borders; these are general trends that have emerged from many years of many people trying to build decks that win.
Here are some general terms I'm familiar with:
Mill - wins by emptying its opponent's library. These are typically control decks because of how long that usually takes.
Prison - wins by locking the opponent down. A particularly sick deck type. Classical centerpieces of various prison decks include such atrocities as Stasis and Smokestack.
Weenie - aggro decks that focus on a flood of cheap creatures. Most famously, white weenie decks and goblin decks, which tend to be possible (though not always good) in pretty much every format.
Stompy - aggro decks that focus on larger creatures. Varies a good deal from format to format, but usually involves green magic.
For more specific deck types, hang around and listen to people who play the format you're interested in competitively and you'll pick up on the terms. There isn't exactly a handbook for them.

Within the three main types players employ the various mechanics introduced with the blocks/expansions - such as unearth, cascade, levelup, landfall, etc.
Sometimes the mechanics work in only one style and sometimes they can work in more than one style such as Aggro or control.
By the way does WotC introduce a mechanic in the basic set - M11? Or is it a general sampling from the previous sets with some new cards?

I don't know of any sort of exhaustive listing for things like that. You could probably google for it but only by format - say, "vintage decks" or something.
Jund is the red-centered "civilization" in Shards of Alara. Google pointed me to a blog about a Jund aggro/control deck http://magicgameplan.com/blog/how-to-build-the-jund-deck-for-zendikar-standard/ here.
Storm is a mechanic, and storm decks are decks that feature it, usually as a kill mechanism. When storm cards were Standard, I believe there was a successful deck that killed with Dragonstorm. In Vintage, there is a very powerful deck that kills with Tendrils of Agony. Vintage is a good format for storm because of the cheap mana acceleration, card drawing, and tutoring spells it can play. The idea is to chain them together in the same turn, keeping both your mana pool and hand from emptying, and then (tutor for and) finish with Tendrils. Google "tendrils deck" for some examples, and/or ask about it here in the deck development forum.
