What's yout take on Wurmcoil Engine?

Ever since I went to the pre-release and aquired 4 copies of the Engine I have wondered what makes it co good? After going to several FNM tournaments I have relized this. It is because Wurmcoil Engine is like the Artifact Titan that M11 didn't have. It can kill off any of the titans simply because of deathtouch then gain you six life and give you 2 more creatures. The only M11 titan I have seen stand toe to toe with it is...believe it or not.... Frost Titan. This is only because Frost Titan can keep Wurmcoil tapped making him useless. Also a big thing about the Wurmcoil is that if you were to kill off an M11 Titan you get nothing in return, but if my opponent has a few more creatures then I do I will just DoJ the field or Doom Blade my wurmcoil to even the odds. Overall I give this card a 9 out of ten. If this baby had flying, well lets just say Baneslayer go bye bye and I would make it a ten out of ten.

The card is sweet. I thank god that they made it the prerelease promo, so that I can actually buy them. Seeing how it was in so many decks at states, means that it will be popular. Most decks won't run 4 of them, but there will be lots of decks out there that do run some. It's a great beater. It replaces itself when it dies. And it kills almost anything out there. What is there not to love? My only regret about it is that I traded mine away already, so now I have to get more...lol. Anyways, I think it is my favorite card of the set.

it's pretty good although I still feel deathtouch on a 6/6 to be a bit of wasted ink...I play one in my EDH artifact deck and it works wonders I find two 24/24 engine's to be quit plesant...

i have one and i threw it in with my white standard deck because i found that if they survive the first 6 turns (doesn't usually happen) my deck goes *insert fart noise here* and they go ha i win cuz by then they are rolling and i just hit the bottom of the hill and im top decking the rest of the game. i could use some white draw cards if anyone could point me in their direction please lol.

There are a couple of nice ones, I really like repel darkness..

You could use mtgvaults card search check white serach on text and search for draw...you'll get tons of hits!

If you want to keep it standard you could use:
Repel Darkness
Wall of Omens
Survival Cache
Those are the three that I can think of off the top of my head.

Anyway my opinion of Wurmcoil Engine is that I love this darn thing. 6/6 colorless for 6 with two abilities that replaces itself if it dies which it most certainly will. Truly a great ending card.

I will begin by saying, a 6/6 for :mana6: is amazing. Simple as that. If I had only that back in the day of Urza's, I'd have been a happy man.. err.. boy at the time.

Now give it deathtouch, and it becomes even more amazing. It destroys anything (almost) on contact. I mean look at both of the artworks for this card.. it looks like it'd kill anything just by sneezing on it, let alone touching it... or worse ;)

Now give it lifelink (though I'm not sure what in the artwork or fluff justifies that.. but okay, I'll buy it) and it becomes even even more amazing.

Now give it the ability to put two mini-me's in play when it enters the graveyard.. dare I say.. it becomes even even even more amazing!

There's not much more to say about it beyond that. It's one of those cards you look at and think "oh, that's cool." Then you see it in action, just once, and you'll never underestimate it again.

I recently built a deck with this and splinter twin, and I was able to attack with 5 wurmcoils... Ya, I love the card even more the more I can abuse it.
