You Make The Card Contest - November 2008

Okay, I thought I'd start up a YMTC contest (not "you make the comic").

Here's the rules:

1. This contest is open to everyone who is a mtgvault member
2. It will continue until intrest is lost (hopefully never)
3. Don't break any of the mtgvault.com guidelines or rules (if we even have any)
4. About November 20, 2008, I will open a poll allowing you to vote for your favorite card.

Card rules:
1. Can be any color, supertype, subtype, etc.
2. Make card's abilities justifiable by its mana cost
3. Can post the card outline* (like Magic R&D uses), or a picture from a card creation website
4. Failure to follow these rules will exclude your card from voting on Nov. 20th

*here's an example:

George W. Bush 2WW

Legendary Creature-Human Politician

[Tap], Sacrifice a Creature: Destroy target Land

McCain didn't win the election?

(Cards don't have to be joke cards, like the one above)

Good idea guys, I've created the new forum for you and moved this thread there. I'd suggest that for now we just take card ideas in this thread (for this months cards) and then on the 20th create a new thread with the voting poll for this month's competition. At the end of the month the card with the most votes will win!

After that if this proves successful we can create a new thread where people can post cards for next months competition and so on...

Good luck to all who enter! :)
randomryan how did you become a moderator?
When I started this contest, I showed the idea to Gary, and I also expressed how a moderator should have control over the entries and polls. He asked if I was up to the job, and I said yes. And the differences between Mods and Members?

1. Mods can remove offensive posts
2. We are cooler

Thats about it. There may be more differences, just not to my knowledge.
