First Custom Card. Opinions?
Hey this is the first card I have ever "made." Any opinions? too weak, too powerful?

I know, its very similar and has the same image, but the first one just gave me the idea, and that image makes sense for the equipment.

Markov's Bond - Decent flavor. I think it could be four mana.
Wording suggestion: You have to say when during the upkeep the player loses life, as in
At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 3 life.
Sword of Sorin - Again, nice flavor. It's well costed; expensive but then first strike and deathtouch are a powerful combination.
Wording suggestion: Equipment with extra effects for creatures with a certain characteristic use the phrase "as long as" (Tenza, Godo's Maul, Warmonger's Chariot, etc.), as in
Equipped creature gets +2/+0 and has first strike. As long as it's a Vampire, it has deathtouch.

Nice first start on your cards. I actually love the flavor text on each card. I agree with you that they are almost too similar. You should probably change the positive effects on them. Also what rarity are you planning for each one., that will help me figure out what mana cost you should use.

In my opinion, if you want to keep the mana cost for Markov's Bond that high, I don't think you need to have it drain life and maybe not 3 life. If you want to make it so that it can actually be played in a Vampire deck, I highly recommend you go with a cheaper Mana cost, make it specific to Vampires, and make it only drain 2 at max. This will make it easy to use, in fact desired to be used.
As for the sword, not bad, but again with an equipment that expensive I don't think you need to have it drain life from the user.
Also, love the flavor text on both cards. Good job.

hey look it's a black overrun. I don't like the card much (the enchantment I mean), It would be much better as an instant simular to the white common Fortify.
BB
Instant
Vampires you control get +2/+0 and flying, you loose 3 life.
flavor text: "shit happens"
It's far more efficient then the enchantment you invented and competitive without being broken.
As for the equipment, 6 colorless mana to get it online is really difficult to justify in a tribal deck. I've always been reluctant to play loxodon warhammer for the same reason and loxodon warhammer is far better then Sword of Sorin. Don't get me wrong, as an equipment your sword makes sense flavor wise and it's a good design but noone would actually play it.
