been away awhile ;-)

so i started playin magic back in the early and mid 90's and came back around elderazi and was just lookin for some help on whats good these days to play ;-). i love to play red/burn but not sure if thats still good theses days basically i dont plan on doin any tournaments just yetjust FNM and local stuff any help appreciated thanks ;-)


P.S. was thinkin of maybe goin red/green or red/blue are these playable at all these day?

Hi and welcome back!

The first thing I'd have to ask you is what format you intend to play. Asking whether a certain deck works or not will most likely have different answers if you're wanting to play a Standard deck, or just a casual deck among friends.

well for starters i just wanna do some FNM so type 2 heres the deck i made from the M11 cards and some elderazi i got seems like it might start off a little slow but not sure havent gotten a chance to play it just yet ;-)

4xfireball
4xlightningbolt
4xstaggershock
4xpyroclasm
4xlava axe
3xreverberate
1x comet storm ( wanna get 3 more of these)

4xchandras spitfire
4xfire servant
2xchandra nalaar

20 mountains
1x valakut, the molten pinnacle ( wanna get 3 more of these too)

hav room for 5 more cards not sure what to put in tho and was thinking of addin blue or green got a 4 echo mages and a couple lighthouse chronologists and some frost titans and some primevil titans and stuff ;-) thanks for any advice
