Token Decks Challenge

Magic fans, today my challenge for you is to build a token deck. Easy right? Most of us have one. The catch  It has to have a way of winning that only partially relates to just overwhelming your opponent.
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=130169
In my saproling deck, I get a ton of saprolings relatively easily and can easily swamp the opponent under waves of creatures. But that is not why I made this deck, k maybe a little but the point of this deck is to one: infinite mana with life and limb and utopia mycon and two: day of dragons. With day of dragons I don't need 30 saps to win, i will probably only need 5. 5 is still can be considered overwhelming the opponent but you get my point. So lets see those Unique token decks!:D

White soldier token deck with splash of red for banefire.

It's based on treating tokens as a mana source for {x} spells generating new tokens, continuously doubling the amount of tokens while gaining life until either have enough 1/1 to horde the opponent, or sacrifice all tokens for a large enough banefire.

I can win on turn 3 with the right cards. Here a list of ways I normally win any do so i dont mind.

Get infinite mana to pump helix pinacle usin galvanizer n any 2 mana from myrs.

Use the myrs to tap infinite times to deal infinite damage to defending player.

use the infinite mana on myr matrix to get an infinite army and use coat of arms to swarm your opponents.

Also with carnage alter i can draw all my cards by turn 4 and just leave a few to not mill myself. Which means i could win by any one of these methods. Opponents get pretty mad when you ask them if they want to die by a swarm, mana or battlesphere lol.

I don't see how any of that works. Next post can you walk through this deck turn by turn?

Really good deck, although i don't think it makes enough tokens fast enough to be considered a token deck

TURN 1: no worries opening hand opponent goes 1st then u have a swamp, 4 dark rituals, 2 myr galvanizers and then draw a palladium myr.

TURN 2: infinite mana by tapping the palladium myr storing 1 mana and using 1 to untap itself using myr galvanizers if you then tap the palladium myr again you have 3 mana and spend 1 to untap both the 1st myr galvanizer and palladium myr (repeat this as often as you like) draw myr matrix to create infinite myrs for turn 3 kill. Or battlesphere to be able to tap infinite myrs because you can repeat the cycle and each time you do your tapping 2 myrs. Dealing 2 damage to defending player and giving myr battlesphere +2 to attack each time u do the cycle lol

TURN 3: If you got a myr matrix last turn and draw a carnage alter you can now play all your library this turn (apart from lands) by doing the infinite myr cycle, sacrificing them paying 3 drawing a card. Otherwise u have a lot of 2/2 myrs going at your opponent.

well a sub condition of my deck rely's on producing triskelavite tokens which i sac and then deal damage over and over by turn 4 ish, check it out it is pretty fun. and i find it quite versatile.

http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=128352

it aint "completely" tokeny

Here is my deck. Its uses the Myr tokens from multiple sources, Battlesphere brings in a super creature and pretty much I just run rough shot on poor little people.

http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=132192

2 Galvanizers + 1 Palladium gives me unlimited mana and the ability to untap all Myrs infinitely (except 1 Galvanizer and they untap the other while tapping themself)

Resevoir brings back Myrs

Semblence Anvil makes Myrs cheaper

Prototype portal allows me copy anything I want

Propogators lets me make copies of itself (and with the above mentioned, unlimited copies)

and Battlesphere is the Big Gun.

Really fun deck and really cheap to get all cards.

With both of you, I see lots of tokens but what is the way to win that does not involve total swarming? Love the decks tho:D

Ya, it's pretty much total swarming. The only thing that isn't swarm is Battlesphere (but it still relies on Myrs to tap) since it gives you the deal X damage to target player on top of its actual attack (that is of course if thats me playing the card correctly, haha).

I don't know if you want to add red but if you do, with your infinite mana you could add a fireball or banefire to just hit the opponent head on. :D
Or better yet, all that mana can equal using spawn of ulamogs ability. Check out my sap deck for ideas :D

OK I guess this deck challenge's idea is to kill opponen with tokens... well I make few Kor Soldier tokens what can easily be 9/9s :D but mainly this deck is a mill-deck with the SoM Sword :D and also this deck is mostly a tribal deck with wolfs, Kor and cats :D so enjoy the epic swing for the win (Deck is a T2 deck)

(T2 = Standard)

I wouldn't consider this deck a token deck mostly because there are only two types of cards that create them and it doesn't focus on the ones created. Don't get me wrong its a good deck, i just don't think it qualifies as a token deck.

Well the deck was a token deck before I made it tournament quality. It didn't have colour hate, nor swords it had 4 conqueror's pledges and 2 nomads' assemblys. and the deck created 1808 19/19 first striking Kor Soldier tokens, with vigilance of course. but it rarely happened so I had to take it to higher level. Now it's most likely tier 2 deck and in tournament it's been in? 2-1 was last FNM.

Thanks! :D

I only pull it out when people ask, or on very rare occasions, as it really is too unfair.

Here's another entry, http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=130827

Use the lich lord of urn to keep producing zombies and if you have a noxious ghoul out then it kills just bout everything because of the -1 -1 and not damage. Then you can also use the lich lords 2U2B ability to kill and mill your opponents and because of the other zombies in play your 1/1's come out massive.

Here's my unmade Knotvine Palladin/Knight of the Reliquary deck. Landfall produces tokens to make Knotty big. Also KotRs help themselves and landfall via their own activated ability, just grab a fetch land. YAY!

Good landfall deck. I've never realized how good landfall could be. I card that might work in that deck just because of all the land is Omnath, Locus of Mana.

Just remembered an interesting token production combo but I'm too lazy to make a deck with it so I'll just give the key cards:
Mirror-Sigil Sergeant enchanted with Followed Footsteps with a few Paradox Hazes out.
