Arbor Elf Clarification

Hello, I am designing a deck with Arbor Elf in it but I need some clarification on the rules. On the first turn I place a Forest and use it to summon an arbor elf. On the second turn I place another Mana. I have a creature that cost one green mana to play and two colorless. Can I use the Arbor elf to tap one forest twice along with the other forest to summon the creature? Basically can one mana source be used twice to summon something?

Note: I originally posted this in the deck building section of the site but then I realized this would be a better place.

yes that works as long as you tapped the forest twice in the same phase
