Glissa, the Traitor vs Vampire Nighthawk
Hey guys
Just a small opinion poll for those who play legacy or at least have been around for a while. Is Glissa, the Traitor better then Vampire Nighthawk in legacy or not?
- They both cost 3 mana but Vampire Nighthawk can be played turn 1 with Dark Ritual while Glissa is very hard to cast before turn 3.
- They both have deathtouch making them good blockers, but Glissa survives Tarmogoyf, Knight of the Reliquary and Terravore. Vampire Nighthawk can stop Tombstalker, Glissa can't.
- They both have a form of evasion
- Nighthawk has lifegain making him very useful in combination with lets say dark confidant, bitterblossom, thoughtseize...
- Glissa can reccur Jitte and Engineered Explosives
I still thing Nighthawk is the better card, cheaper too. But that's the point of the discussion. Will Glissa drop in price because she's outmatched by better creatures or not?
