MTG Vault Deck Challenges
It's mine, GIVE IT BACK!!!!!
I have several Ghazban Ogres (which swithes control during the controller's upkeep to the player with the highest LT but stays if that is you) and thought i would be fun to what ideas people had for a deck and then a couple of hours ago I found out there were other cards with basically the same effect. So here is your challenge:
Create a deck that uses creatures that change control due to life total (if there are cards that switch due to other, similar reasons let me know via pm and I may add them to the challege).
Addtitional rules
:manax: Ghazban Ogre is not required
:manax: You are allowed to use other creatures however no more than a third of your monsters can be non switching. I say a third because of how few monsters some people use, if you make a deck that is mainly monsters i would prefer less.
:manax: Do not mention Ghazban Ogress, I will not allowed unhinged/Unglued
:manax: Sleeper Agent is allowed and does not count toward your 1/3.(Effect: When it comes into play target oppanent gains control of it. It does2 damage to its controller during the controller's upkeep)
:manax: Flailing Soldier, Flailing Ogre, and Flailing Manticore would be fun to see as well. However they do count toward the 1/3(One colorless: Flailing__ gets +1/+1 till end of turn. One colorless Flailing__ gets -1/-1 till end of turn. Any player can activate these abilities.)
:manax: I know life gain is the easiest way to go with this and that is perfectly fine, however I will be impressed with non life gain decks. Don't let that stop you life gainers though, go ahead and submit.
:manax: Any color scheme is allowed
:manax: No deck limit, but I prefer to keep it in the double digits.
:symchaos: This is just for fun so don't get all serious on me, I don't intend to hurt anyone's feelings with comments I may make about your deck. The deck doesn't have to be serious either. Which leads to the most important rule: HAVE FUN

Lands:
Contested Warzone
Rainbow Vale
Both those switch around.
Karona, False God cycles around the table on it's own. (man what a terrible card.)

You can use whatever land you want, what I'm was asking was for creatures. Karona Isn't exactly what I was looking for, but you can use him but he counts off the 1/3.
Also I'd prefer suggestions would be sent to me via Private Message.

That was fun to make, thanks for the challenge. It was especially fun to do it without lifegain - if you were to build this deck, you'd probably want to put in Kazandu Refuge (lifegain dual land).
Ghazban Ogre and Wild Dogs are straightforward early-aggro creatures with the switcher drawback. My third switching creature (assuming you allow it) is Emberwilde Djinn, which synergizes very well with the other two: unless your opponent is also playing red, they have to pay life to gain control of him, which makes it less likely that they'll be gaining control of your other creatures.
The only nonswitching creature is Brooding Saurian, which makes the control-switching less of a potential drawback: even if you have to give up your creatures at the beginning of your turn, they'll come right back at the end.
My favorite part of the deck is Browbeat, Breaking Point, and Illicit Auction: they already force your opponent to make a difficult choice, but now the lifeloss could also lead to them giving back your creatures. Breaking Point is potentially "Board wipe, or deal 6 damage and take my creatures back", which is amazing whichever way you slice it.
Finally, Vines of Vastwood stops your opponents doing nasty things like saccing your djinn, or just pumps your attackers. Arc Trail lets you finesse creature removal and lowering your opponent's life total, while Raging Ravine blocks those treacherous dogs and ogres, or swings in after you've cast a devastating Breaking Point.
