MTG Finder: app to search magic cards
Hi all!
I would like to share with you this app that I've developed: MTG Finder.
MTG Finder is a chrome extension to find cards at the magiccards.info (in several languages), wizards.com (only in english) or apathy house (only in english too) without opening additional new tabs or windows, only highlighting a word in the browser and clicking the MTG Finder icon.
It's useful to see legality, prices, corrected text and more!
It can be installed for free from the official Chrome Webstore website: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/infiigcphjnhnkjagipboadmcdefhhld
I accept suggestions to improve it. Feedbacks on the Chrome website are welcome! :D

MTG have been improved to search also into www.mtg.ru (that allows also to search russian cards) and www.tappedout.net.
Now you can also use right-click button to perform the search that you want.
What do you think about it?

MTG Finder new version includes TCG Player search. It allows you to see card prices from several stores, comparisons, stats, simil cards and much more.
Check it absolutely free at the Chrome Webstore.
(Firefox version is now in beta version! some mac user wants to test it?)

Awesome extension man, thanks so much, this thing is the tits!!!
Are there a good search engines that use some kind of fuzzy search that try to guess misspelled cards?
For instance if you type
Spawn Sire of Ulamog
in http://deckstats.net/index.php?lng=en
it will find Spawn Sire of Ulamog ยป Spawnsire of Ulamog (by fuzzy)
But it's a deck creator not a card search so I don't think you can use it as a search engine. It's very useful though as many people misspel cards on forums like this one.
anyway, thanks for creating this, I'm going to use it a lot!!

@Seth, correcting misspelled cards would be a great feature, I'm agree. The problem I find is that I don't have a card database to lookup the correctness of the words (and I think it would affect performance of the queries).
It really will depend on the website where you make the query. I know, for example, that magiccards.info has a service like that. Try to search "Spawn Sire of Ulamog" with magiccards.info and you'll find it.
Let me know if that helps you :-)
Don't forget to give us a feedback at the webstore, share it and follow us if you liked! ;)
