Need help with infected
Just the other day I put together an infected deck, and it doesn't seem to work as well as most others.. Any suggestions/criticism will be extremely helpful..
my deck..
4x unholy strength
4x plague myr
4x doom blade
4x go for the throat
4x plague stinger
4x assassinate
4x ichor rats
2x flesh-eater imp
4x hand of the praetors
4x diabolic tutor
I'm planning on adding virulent wounds, and removing doom blade.

WAY less kill spells. -4 Assassinate (Too much mana) -4 Ichor Rats (Not that great) Throw in some Ichorclaws and/or Necropedes and +4 Vampire's Bite

Another thing always good for infect is a splash of another color. Ive seen some really good White/Black Infect Decks thanks to protection from colors (gets thru easy), or green infect has some really nice creatures and also a lot of instant boosts which i sgreat for infect. distortion strike is another good blue infect card plus proliferate. Red gives some nice burn to get thru easy and assault strobe is nasty too. Another black creature you should consider is Phyrexian Crusader. a 3 mana 2/2 infect is pretty good right off the bat. protection from red and white makes it almost untouchable by removal and burn and, depending on your opponents deck, unlbockable. and first strike plus infect is WAY more potent than meets the eye. Think of Phyrexian crusaer vs a 3/3. Phyrexian hits first, giving the 3/3 two -1/-1 counters making it a 1/1 when it hits back, meaning Crusader lives. That means enemy creatures have to have an attack power of TWICE crusader's defnese which is AMAZING
