my suggestion is to drop Explore and Groundswell, replace with a 4th Lightning Bolt and Vines of Vastwood and 3 Harrow.

Harrow tends to be faster than Explore and gives you a much better chance of being able to play those 7cc creatures. the exception i would make is if your group plays a lot of counterspells, in which case harrow becomes a it too risky.

yeah, i added a 4th lightning bolt as well as a vines, but im not to sure about harrow. The mana cost seems high and to sack a land as well to draw 2 and play, seems a bit much. i think i may try ichor wellspring though. with garruks untap ability, i think it would be more effective.

You're not playing enough land. If you want to get to your 5-6 mana threats consistently, you need 24. If you're playing explore and want to get to your pelakka wurm consistently, you're gonna want 26. Minimum.

won't that mana flood me though? I have been considering taking out some of the larger cc costing creatures. I may be relying to much on garruks untap ability to float for the larger costing summons but as of right now, it seems to be working. The only downside I have found is that I am only running 2 garruks so consistency has proven to be an issue, but i'll try upping the mana to 24 first and see how that works. Thanks!

The thing about ramp decks like this is yes, you can flood, but usually you're ramping fast enough to big stuff that it doesn't matter. Decks of this type also usually play the full set of manlands (Raging Ravines, in your case) and Valakut. One of the best decks in Standard, called Valakut, is actually this type of deck except it runs primeval titan which is a bit expensive.

just wanted to update:

I ran it against an infect with proliferate last night as well as a vampire deck splashed with red aggro.

The infect deck didn't stand a chance thanks to the tumble magnets and lightning bolts, also i sideboarded for 3x metallic mastery and 3x burn the impure seeing as he was running artifact creatures with infect which made it easy to deal damage to him as well as take control of his creatures and swing the poison to him. It took me until turn 7 to win the match though as I had to build up manna to pull out liege of the tangle which won me that game.

The second round against the vampire deck was easily controlled thanks to me drawing 2 tumble magnets. I managed to prevent any damage to myself long enough to throw 2 arc runners with giant growths at him, followed by a finishing blow from Red Sun Zenith.

I state all of this because I agree now with the mana problem I have been having and I will be trying with the mana bumped up to 26. I am also going to replace some of the basic land with some dual lands to help cast some of the spells a bit faster.

Thanks for all the advice.

I made other suggestions on your deck page, but i just wanted to add, I would loose the Vines of Vastwood and add 2 Forest's and 1 Mountain, and of course if you have them or plan on getting them some dual tapping lands would work great.
