GB deck challenge. Need help.

Ok, so I'm getting my buddy back into Magic, and he has requested a deck for me to build him, the only thing is, I'm horrible at building decks as I'm new :p

Premise, Green/Black Vampire/Elf deck, but he also wants some Nightmare's in there as well. is this possible? I know money isn't that big of a problem for him.

Also it doesnt have to be elves, but he wants it green black, definitely vampires and 4x Nightmare's.

This is by far not perfect but looks like a good start to me. :) I know that some of the lands do damage but the life gain from the creatures and artifacts should be enough to off set that. If you want to use this as a base maybe some of the other "better" deck builders could throw in some ideas or tweeks to make it flow better and be a bit smoother for you.

Nice, just gotta add some Nightmares. Maybe some more basic lands, he's not looking for anything tournament related, just casual.

yea sorry about that I totally forgot about the nightmares. :eek: I'm not really all that great at picking out the mana so you'll have to tweek that. I think the deck might be better as a mono black, also there aren't any spells or enchantments in there. just boosting the creatures off of other creatures.

with the mana base that I have in there, your going to have to change it up a lot because he wants Nightmare in there. Since it's power and toughness are equal to the number of swamps he controles the green will hurt it and so with the dual lands. even though they produce black, it's not really a swamp from what I understand...

But good luck, I hope some of the other guys will help too.
