Disciple of the Vault- Help!

If I have a disciple of the vault in play, a horde of artifacts, and then I blow a Nevinryl's Disk, does my opponent take any damage from the Disciple?

simply put, yes.

deciple of the vault whenever an artifact is put into a graveyard from the battle field, you may have target opponet lose 1 life.

so you can choose to do damage to them or not for as many artifacts that go to the graveyard on either side.
