Niv-Mizzet and draw abilities.

I'm curious how Niv-Mizzet would work with a card like Brainstorm.

Does he in fact get to do 3 points of damage and are each instance of card draw separate. In other words does each draw allow for new targets?

Yes his ability goes off 3 seperate times, allowing for 3 seperate instances of 1 damage.
