Excommunicate - Put target creature on top of its owner's library.
If the target creature has an echantment aura attached, where does that go?

It's sent to the graveyard. If the creature leave play, what does it have left to enchant?

Yes, this is true.
If it is equipped, the equipment stays in play, unattached.
Enchantments Auras attached are sent to the graveyard.
This is useful when they enchant one of your creatures, like with an arrest. You can get the enchantment off and re-summon the creature.
