Probably an easy question to answer, but I wanted to get some other opinions on it so I could settle this between my friends. We were playing a game one night and this situation came up. My friend declared an attack against me. The creature he was attacking with had an equipment on it (I don't remember what creature or what equip, only that there was no "protection from" anything). So I used Tel-Jilad Defiance on that creature. Here's the question: does that creature, now having protection from artifacts, lose the equipment equipped to it?
