Tonight was draft night, and with New Phyrexia having just been released, my local game store decided to run nothing but New Phyrexia packs.

One thing that I discovered during sealed last weekend is also true of draft, the format is slooooooow. You can regularly expect to get to the point of having 7 mana available. One of my games even ended up with the ground game so cluttered that we each had 14 lands out before I finally packed in the win.

Anyway, I wrote up a quick report of my draft picks, what my final deck looked like, and some short match reports if anyone is interested.

I'm also going to be putting together some mini-tutorials on drafting strategy that is specific to New Phyrexia, but probably applicable to just about any set.
