annihilator vs player shroud
this question was brought up at our last FNM and I didn't agree with the ruling so I figured I'd ask on here.
if you have a card out like Leyline of Sanctity that gives the player shroud can you be effected by creatures with Annihilator?
they were saying that it doesn't effect you because the creatures ability is targeting the player. just wnated to make sure this was correct.

Shroud doesn't interact with the Annihilator mechanic because Annihilator doesn't target anything.

It's currently the one of the few solution to an Obliterator other than Condemn...exiling....kill-spells...
