Spells whithout target

Good morning

I have a most basic question that has been making me think to much

I'll start with an example Wild Evocation, imagine i have it in play and pass the turn, thenAt the beginning of that player's upkeep, that player reveals a card at random from his or her hand. If it's a land card, the player puts in onto battlefield. Otherwise, the players casts it without paying its mana cost if able, he shows a mana leak for example he then casts it without paying its mana cost but it has not target so what happens it "fizles"!! or it stays in hand!?

I don't really know it says "If Able" so if not, what!? does it goes to the graveyard or simply it ain't cast.

Best Regards
And have a Nice Day

It isn't cast. If a spell is revealed from your hand with wild evocation (or anything like it) and it doesn't have a legal target, then it can't be cast. In Wild Evocation's case, it would remain in your hand.
