I think you seriously underestimate the format. The deck I run for instance will kill you each game turn 3 and with your deck there's nothing you can do about that.

If you want to play elves you'll need

4x Glimpse of Nature: most important card of the deck to fuel your combo
4x Summoner's Pact: to get the missing combo pieces
1x Emrakul, the Aeons Torn: Once you start to combo you want haste to finish the job the same turn. Emrakul does that for you and you have the mana. You should have Emrakul, the Aeons Torn out by turn 3.

Although in sideboard I would play 4xchoke and 4xpithing needle/Phyrexian Revoker.


Other cheap decks that are pretty good are Affinity and Dredge (Ichorid)

PS: these days I would call a 200$ deck a budget legacy deck, most decks are 700$-1000$

Thanks for the reply, and I know there are a few cards I need to get still. I know Glimpse of Nature is a must I just need to buy them. I've thought of different variations of the deck, one using Concordant Crossroads and Overrun and others using Tendrils of Agony, normally it kills around turn 4 or 5. The thing that slows it down is the Archdruid, which can obviously be fixed with Glimpse of Nature. I'll see what I can do, like I said I have most of the cards for the deck.

Know that the deck faces a number of problems the biggest being Pernicious deed. Deed kills elves and it's a very popular card. Mental Misstep hasn't done the deck any favours either. Yet another hate card against glimpse.
