Rulings for Spellskite

I have a Shimmer Myr and Sun Titan on the field. My opponent plays a Gp for the Throat. Can I flash in Spellskite and activate the ability to target Spellskite? I know I can flash it in, but my question is whether I can redirect Go for the Throat to an artifact.

You can only redirect to Spellskite if the targeting is legal, so you cannot redirect a go for the throat.
