I would reccomend with the second deck, since you are running strict black-green, you could run cards with the madness ability (and run fauna shaman) since it allows you to cast cards for rediculously cheap, fetch, and then recur vengevine (basking rootwalla comes to mind).

Also, you might consider running Karador, Ghost chieftain (edit: if you were willing to splash white) to allow for the casting of creatures from the graveyard if you are doing graveyard manipulation. Top it off with a decent sac card like Viscera Seer; Bloodthrone Vampire; or Miren, the Moaning Well; and you have a decent graveyard return deck!

why 4x Plague Wind?? You can't support 1 let alone 4. Do you want it as one of your 7 starting cards? Do you even want it on turn 4 or 5? If not you should cut it all together and run damnation if you want to blow stuff up.
