Unbreathing Horde

Birds of Paradise will produce Birds of Paradise

I have this card Unbreathing Horde

Unbreathing Horde enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it for each other Zombie you control and each Zombie card in your graveyard.
If Unbreathing Horde would be dealt damage, prevent that damage and remove a +1/+1 counter from it.

So lets say I have 3 zombies in Graveyard and 4 zombies on battlefield. This guy is now a 7/7 creature zombie. If he blocks 2 damage, do I remove a +1/+1 or do I remove 2 +1/+1?

You remove a +1/+1 counter to prevent one INSTANCE of damage.

If I swing with a 100000/100000 and you block with it, it removes one +1/+1 counter to prevent that one instance of damage.

If I were to block it with a 1/1 creature, shock it for 2, then Earthquake for 4, it would only remove 3 counters as it's 3 seperate instances of damage.
