Nightshade Assassin+Tortured Existance.

I have one card in my hand, a Nightshade Assassin, a Tortured Existance on the board and a Gorgon Recluse in my graveyard.

Can I use Tortured Existance's ability on Nightshade to discard and get the Recluse from my graveyard to my hand, pay Nightshade's madness cost to get it onto the battlefield and reveal the Recluse to give a creature -1/-1?

no, Tortured Existence's ability is still on the stack by the time Nightshade Assassin's ability would resolve. Therefore Gorgon Recluse would still be in your graveyard.
