nevermore vs green sun zenith

hypothetical question here.

i play nevermore on my turn and name the card primeval titan.

my opponent plays Green Sun's Zenith and searches for primeval titan and puts it on the battlefield.

would this happen? Green Sun's Zenith doesn't mention anything about casting.

tecnicly he didnt cast the primeval titan so nevermore would have no effect.

yea thats kinda what i thought. bleh how shitty, i wanted to put it in my deck to shut down wolf run ramp decks but just shutting down green sun isn't gunna cut it for me.
