Modern Deck Land destruction

Hi, i need help with my modern deck
I tried mixing land distruction + direct damage,
I do not know if I could balance both.
Please comment and suggest!

IMO, the most important thing you can do with an LD deck is beat them to the punch on the mana race. Turn 2 is very important, which makes it difficult to run mono red and actually be successful.

What has worked for me in the past is to either run blue for Boomerang or run Green for Birds. Getting that Turn 2 land off the table is crucial.
