Mimic Vat vs. Leyline of the Void
So I have a Zombie deck that uses a Mimic Vat in combo with some Skinrenders and Grave Titans. My question is, when a creature dies, is it possible for me to mimic it before my opponents Leyline exiles it? another words can I exile before my opponents spell does? If not, I guess I"m just forced to Mimic his cards :(

Anyways, to the OP, Leyline of the Void reads, "If a card would be put into an opponent's graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead." It creates a replacement effect where cards are never sent to the graveyard, they are exiled before they get a chance to. That means a card will never be put into a graveyard, and Mimic Vat's imprint ability will never get the chance to trigger.

I'm not really sure why you'd tell me its the wrong forum and then post a link to the forum its in..... anyway, I looked the rules and got the answer. I suppose I just have to resign myself to imprinting their monsters =(
