mono white life gain combo deck - need advice
hi guys,
this is my first thread on mtg vault. i've never really asked the community for much deck advice, but since im aiming to beat all of my friends, i cant ask them ;)
I've got this interesting deck idea stewing, and i just need some help tightening it up before i give it any test play.

The idea here is to ramp up mana and life, leading to a Storm Herd finish. I plan to use the life gain to pace the game and switch in some anti-aggro stuff when necessary. The deck doesn't need a whole lot of control since it is rather combo-y and doesnt really care what the other player is doing. The cards I've selected here are a bit general and are more synergistic than purposeful.
suggestions please?
also, is this deck similar to a pre-existing tournament deck that i might not be familiar with? if so, can you link me a deck list?

It isn't exactly like the tournament white decks out there, but the most similar comparison would be the martyr-proc decks, which allow for life gain with only two cards in the deck, and you can then either beat them down with your fatties or win via felidar sovereign (if you wanted to go that route).

That's exactly the kind of focus I need. the biggest problem with the deck at this point is speed; it just takes too long to get online. what you put here is really helpful, so thanks!

where is the combo with whispersilk cloak, cradle of vitality and celestial mantle. put celestial mantle on a creature with life link then you place the cloak on it, and with the cradle you can put +1+1 counters

in general cradle is to slow, esp when you compair it to martyr combo that uses seras assendants to beat face. another thing to remember is that against kiki jiki or splinter twin combo will kill you no matter how much life you have.
