Concerning Protection and Shroud
Cards with protection from a color can't be targeted from that color right, but what happens if they are in the graveyard? Will a creature with shroud or protection from green not be target-able for Scavenging Ooze?

Cards with protection from a colour or shroud can still be targeted by spells or abilities when in the graveyard.

More appropriately, protection n, shroud, and hexproof are only active when a permanent is on the battlefield. When it is not on the battlefield, it's card text is inactive, and the only properties it maintains are its name, casting cost, color identity, and casting cost.
