Buying cards

I can't really decide if I should buy a Fat Pack or a couple of Core sets. for more likely to get cards.

Because 135 cards sounds good and all, but the 80 land or so is really unneeded as I have between 1000 and 2000 land cards X_X and I can get 2 core sets for a little cheaper, but the card total would be 150. But if 70 of that ends up being land then it might not be worth it.

But I've never actually bought packaged cards, all mine were given to me, so I don't know how much land I'm likely to get in a core set or a booster battle pack or whatever they're called.

So which should I go for?

you should get one land in each booster pack so out of 150 cards 15 should be land not counting dual lands fetch lands ect. personally id rather have the boosters but once or twice i found fat packs that were cheaper not counting lands than the equivalent booster packs but it rare really rare
