Whats the difference between ?

I was wondering the difference between Vault of Whispers and a Basic Swamp...
The difference is that vault of whispers is an artifact or i can play a basic swamp AND vault of whispers on the same turn ?

Another question is that, if a creature have an effect like this:
B: add +1/+1 until the end of the turn.
Can i use this effect many times i want ?

Thanks for helping me !
Sorry for my english...

You can only play 1 land a turn (unless some effect sates otherwise) and both Vault of Whispers and Swamp are land so you can't play both in the same turn. Swamp is a basic land Vault isn't. Vault is and artifact, Swamp isn't. These are all subtle differences that might or might not be relevant in the game you are playing.

Lets say you play Trinket Mage, then Vault of Whispers becomes better then swamp as you can search for it in your library when Trinket Mage enters the battlefield. Trinket Mage does not allow you to go look for that swamp.
On the other hand someone can play Disenchant on your Vault of Whispers to destroy it. A swamp isn't and artifact and is harder to destroy.

If something says B: target creatures gets +1/+1 you can activate that as many times as you can pay the cost.

If something says B, Tap: target creatures gets +1/+1 you can activate that only once as you can tap only once.

Err... may i ask another question in this thread ?
Here we go: if i have Bloodthrone Vampire on the battlefield and another creature.
And my opponet plays Cruel Edict, if i sacrifice the other creature, blood throne gets his bonus ?

this question is asked all the time. sacrificing a creature to bloodthrone vampire is an activation cost. if you are sacrificing a creature to an edict effect you are not sacrificing it to bloodthrone vampire. it's one or the other.
