Spine of Ish Sah

I would like to see what people have come up with or can come up with for this card thats all around nasty. Only requirements are the spine must be part of a win condtion or control combo and there must be some sort of mana excell.

I made a deck that uses Venser (both the creature and the planeswalker), Ajani Vengeant, and other spells to either destroy or unsummon any permanent (mostly lands) my opponent has.

A friend once tried using Grand Architect and a bunch of cheap blue creatures to produce mana to play Prototype Portal inprinting the spine. He was also using Treasure Mage to help search for the spine. Being an all :manau: deck, he played it very much like a control deck (ie counters, bounce, etc.)

Here is my attempt at making a standard deck for this challenge:

http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=277139

It has a number of cool combos in it. It uses Kuldotha Forgemaster to fetch Spine of Ish Sah and mirror works. Venser is then used to bring Ish Sah in and out of play.

Most of the other cards have some sort of purpose in helping the above combo get into play.

I also think it would be worthwhile to figure out how to squeeze some mana leaks and O rings into the deck as well but I am not sure where I could fit them.

You could always just run master transmuter. Ramp mana with "infinite" mana myr using galvanizers, palladiums, and silvers.

Once you get a single galvanizer out, you could utilize mitotic manipulation to potentially grab another to get the mana combo going.

With all that mana, you could use filigree sages to continually untap master transmuter and continually bounce the spine. Destroy as many permanents as you want at that point.

Lightning greaves, stoic rebuttal, and neurok stealthsuit could also come in handy.

Granted, that's if you don't plan on playing standard.
