Preator's Grasp

:confused::manab::manab:ok so alot of my friends are playing preator's grasp- Serch your oppents for liabary for 1 card and exile it. You may look and play this card at any time.....Now does this mean u can play the card with out paying the mana cost?:confused::confused:

You do still have to pay the cards mana cost.

If they could play it for free that card would be worth substantially more money :eek:

So no, you still have to pay to play the card as if it were in your hand. This is one of the reasons that it is very good to use a few lands that produce multiple colors in any deck that uses Grasp.

if you could play for free it would say so on the card. play means pay mana cost unless stated otherwise.
