What does Sever the Bloodline remove?

If I play Sever the Bloodline does it remove all creatures of one type or only with the exact same name?

For example, if my opponent has a Two-headed Sliver and two Virulent Sliver on the field and if I target a Virulent Sliver, will it remove all Slivers (Two-headed Sliver and Virulent Sliver) or just all the Virulent Slivers on the field?

Update: Consensus seems to be only name, not type.

Only creatures with the exact same name would be affected.
